Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT)
Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT) is a time-limited periodic service with a multifaceted treatment approach. Our program assists adults with achieving and maintaining recovery by providing structure and support. Furthermore, our SACOT program facilitates an understanding of chemical dependency and methods of discontinuing substance misuse and sustaining long-term healthy abstinence. We also help consumers understand the adverse consequences of addiction along with the development of vocational and interpersonal skills. In addition, consumers develop an individualized recovery support network to meet their specific recovery needs. These services are offered 20 hours a week, four (4) hours a day.
SACOT also offers the following:
- Biochemical assays
- Care Coordination/case management
- Crisis contingency planning
- Disease Management
- Family education
- Group counseling
- Individual counseling
- Life skills
- Medication Management
- Strategies for craving management and relapse prevention
- Treatment supports activities that have been adapted or specifically designed for persons with physical disabilities, and/or persons with co-occurring disorders of mental health and substance misuse.
